LYC Solutions is owned by Lori Coleman, an IT Consultant who felt the need to create this small business in order to gain flexibility to serve her clients better. Government contracting is increasingly moving toward supporting small businesses; working as a small business allows the optimal outcome with a minimal cost to our clients.

Lori Coleman has decades of professional experience, over 20 years in the IT field, and is fit-for-purpose depending on the task at hand. Ms. Coleman often performs as a subcontractor to primes that already have a contracting vehicle in place, and joins their team to provide her expertise as needed. Ms. Coleman uses technologies to their fullest and live by the “keep it simple” motto, keeping expenses low and results high.

Ms. Coleman has worked for various agencies such as General Services Administration (GSA) Public Buildings Service (PBS), the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA), the Logistics Innovation Agency (LIA) of the Army, and the Office of Financial Research, among others.
